Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl McDaniel Davis, age 89, are scheduled for 4 PM, Friday, May 30, 2014 at Sand Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Marty Comer and Bro. Keith Runyon officiating. Interment will follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Davis was born October 13, 1924 in Henderson County to the late Zelmer and Hattie Meggs McDaniel. She was a homemaker and retired from Brown Shoe. She was a member of Sand Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William “Fred” Davis, her brother, Ted McDaniel, and two sisters, Juanita Frantz and Willie Powers. Survivors include her daughter, Geneva (Ralph) Coffman, two grandchildren, David (Leesa) Coffman and Bud (Debra) Coffman, four great grandchildren, Alisha (Stewart) Fisher, Brittany (Wesley) Lockhart, Lindsey Coffman, and Kellye Coffman, one great-great grandchild, Raylee Jo Fisher, her brother, Ray (Patsy) McDaniel and her sister, Faye Blankenship. Memorial can be made to Sand Ridge Baptist Church or Cemetery.
