Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy A. Heathscott, age 64, are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, May 30, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hare Cemetery. Mrs. Heathscott passed away early Wednesday in Lexington. She was born November 16, 1949 in Lexington to the late Joe Thomas and Meldeen Watson Overman. She was retired from Lexington Manor and loved her animals, singing, going to church, and going on trips with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Everett Heathscott, Sr., her son, Christopher Waller, her daughter, Tasha Waller, a brother, Curtis Overman, and four sisters, Helen Overman, Betty Brown, Ardell Overman, and Joyce Overman. Survivors include her son, Donald Waller, her daughter, Teresa (Marty) Cozart, five brothers, Rosco Overman, Mickey Overman, Jimmy (Jane) Overman, Tony (Redonna) Overman, and Rooster Overman, one sister, Peggy Sue Overman, three grandchildren, Shayna and Chelsey Cozart, and Shelby Waller, and two great grandchildren, Ariana and Ayden Cozart.
