Funeral services for Mrs. Paulette Rushing, age 77, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Rushing Family Cemetery. Mrs. Rushing passed away on Wednesday in Parsons. She was born January 25, 1945 in Scotts Hill to the late Paul and Irene Johnson White. She married Benson Rushing at Oak Grove Church in Decaturville on October 6, 1961. She was a retired factory worker, working at I-Appel and Kolpak. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Noah and two great grandchildren, Hanna and Shelby. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Mr. Benson Rushing; her four sons, Marty (Susan) Rushing, Steve (Donna) Rushing, Michael (Karen) Rushing, and Chris Rushing; her sister, Beverly (Danny) Montgomery; four grandchildren, April (Wes) Tutor, Matt (Amy) Rushing, Adam Rushing, and Mikael Rushing; and five great grandchildren, Destiny, Hayley, Haven, Carter, and Spencer. Mrs. Rushing considered her children her greatest accomplishment and most admired her husband and children for teaching her unconditional love. She will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends on Friday 11 AM – 9 PM and on Saturday, 9 AM – 1 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
