Belinda Gail Parvin, 70 of Athens, passed away on Monday, February 14th, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Parvin was born on May 15th, 1951, to Clifton “Shorty” Laxson and Ester Marie Johnson Laxson.
Mrs. Parvin is survived by her husband Larry Parvin; children Melanie Renae Farmer, Cynthia Dianne Newton (Jamie), and Sabrina Frances McElyea (Cory); grandchildren Brittany Lamb (Kendall), Cody Black (Colleen Paraska), Meagan Farmer, Dawson Newton, Logan Farmer, Sydney Newton, Luke McElyea, and Allie McElyea; and siblings Kathy Cribbs, Melvin Laxson, and Michael Laxson.
Preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service for Mrs. Parvin will be Sunday, February 20th, 2022, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Everett Conn, Jamie Newton, and Buc Chumbley officiating. The family will be accepting friends after the service.
Mrs. Parvin dearly loved her grandchildren!! She always looked forward to family trips to the beach and to Disney World. She loved holidays, especially Christmas. And she loved her dog, Jasmine.
