Paulette Bowling Armistead, age 69, of Sheffield, died Saturday, November 26, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Troy Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Armistead was a member of Hook Street Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Wayne Armistead, father William D. Bowling and mother, Dorothy Bowling Long. She was a very special Momma, sister, Gaga and friend who will be missed by all.
She is survived by her daughters, Alicia Armistead Evans, Angie Armistead Pigg (Ronald); son, Brian Armistead; four grandchildren, Amber Evans Jackson (Daniel) Austin Evans, Ryan Pigg (Katharine), and Jacob Pigg; two great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Nathen Blake Rhodes and Caymen Layne Jackson; brothers, Ken Bowling (Sandy) and Doug Bowling.
Pallbearers are Jacob Pigg, Daniel Jackson, Russ McBride, Donovan Henry, David Bowling and Don Bowling.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation.
