Marty Hart, 60, of Killen, passed away November 28, 2016 at E.C.M. Hospital. Marty was employed with Champion/International Paper Mill for 25 years. He loved working on antique cars in his shop at home; enjoyed fishing; watching and going to Alabama and UNA football games; and he was a big Braves fan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brian Giselbach and Kenneth Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Florence City Cemetery.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Jessie Hart.
He is survived by his wife, the love of his life of 35 years, Ann Crowder Hart; brother, Jim Hart; nephew, Jim Bo Hart; several cousins; friends; and a special little dog whom he loved and she always made him smile, Sophie.
Pallbearers will be David Fenn, Robbie Gray, Doug Dudash, Darin Smith, Roger Lewis, Mike Westrick, and Steve Harrison.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the doctors and employees of Northwest Alabama Cancer Center, and the 6th floor nurses at E.C.M. Hospital.
