Paula Jane Petroka, age 71, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Rose Romansky. Paula was born on June 1, 1951 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Michael A. Petroka; son, Michael P. Petroka and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Gunnar, Wyatt, Rhett, and Delaney Petroka; brother, Leonard Romansky and his wife Linda; brother in law, Robert Petroka and his wife Donna; nephew Andrew Petroka and his wife Mariana; niece Katelyn Joyce and her husband Tommy; and many other family and friends.
Paula loved her high school sweetheart, Mike and their family with all of her heart. She was a very proud grandmother and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was a retired elementary teacher, and in retirement she was a volunteer for those in need in each town she lived, and at Journey Home here in Murfreesboro. Paula was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved cheering on her team. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, January 30th at St. Rose Catholic Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at 10:00 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM.
