Paul Wesley Charpie, Sr. age 71, of Arab passed away Friday Oct. 14, 2016, at Marshall Medical North. Mr. Charpie was born on August 17, 1945, in Bartow, Florida the Son of Elbert Dawson Charpie, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Lock Charpie. He was a Material Manager with Raytheon Systems and was married to Donna Stringer Charpie. They moved here about 20 years ago from Eufala, AL. Mr. Charpie was a Colonel in the Auctioneering business and was a member of Resurrection Baptist Church. He is survived by his Wife: Donna Charpie of Arab; Son: Paul Wesley, Jr. (Chrisi) Charpie of Comer, AL; Daughters: Kim Lorraine (Cliff) Crouch of Eufala, Julie Charpie Thomas of Eufala, Casondra Baker of Arab, Kellie Parker ( Andrew Brent)Helms of Southside; Brothers: Elbert Dawson Charpie, III of Citronell, and Adam Charpie of Grand Bay, AL; Sisters: Sue Farnie of Grand Bay, Anne Lundy of Grand Bay and Bonnie Hoover of Mobile; Grandchildren: Christopher Crouch, Tyler Crouch, Zach Charpie, Brody Charpie, Gregory Helms, Breanna Baker and Adrianna Baker.
