Mr. Paul Strange, 79, of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday June 3, 2014, at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be 6pm until 8pm tonight at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 am Thursday in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Pochop officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Strange was the retired owner/operator of Strange’s Greenhouses in Waterloo. He was also a bluegrass musician who played the wash tub. He loved his family, music and plants.
Surviving him are his wife, Margaret Strange; son, Paul Stanley Strange, Jr. (Pam), Mt. Hope, AL; daughter, Brenda Knight (Roy), Cherokee; brothers, Hank Strange and James Strange both of Indiana and David Strange, Florence; sisters, Carine Hutton, Waterloo and Rena Mitzer, VA; grandchildren, Bonnie Passmore, Robert English, Jr., Jason English, Jeremy Strange, Lindsey Evans and Lacy Scott; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Gonzalez, Tatum Passmore, Xavier Passmore, Micaela Tucker, Robert English, III, and Casey Scott.
