Paul Michael (Mike) Crocker met his Savior on Dec. 22, 2015. Mike was born on June 11, 1939, in Reform, Alabama to Andrew Paul and Doris Knox Crocker. Services for Mike are at Morrison Funeral Home in Cherokee. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Dec. 26, followed by the funeral with Brother Steve Slaton officiating. Burial is at Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in
Allsboro, Alabama.
Mike loved his family and treasured every moment with his wife, children, and seven grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 47
years, Emily Hughes Crocker, and his three sons and their families,
Paul, Amanda, Dalton, and Lily; David, Jamie, Austin, and Emily; and
Derrick, Shirley, Davis, Kyle, and Courtney. He is also survived by
his brother, Gene Crocker and wife, Nancy.
Mike graduated from Warrior High School in Warrior, Alabama, in 1957.
In 1971, he graduated from the University of North Alabama with a B.S. in History and a minor in psychology. Mike served the United States in the Air Force from 1963-1967, including time in Japan from 1964-1966. He worked for TVA as a public safety officer for 20 years.
Pallbearers are his brother-in-law, Joe D. Hughes and friends, Terry
Burcham, Mike Worsham, Don Campbell, Matt Franks, Jamie Carpenter,
Jimmy Tapp, and Michael Thorne.
The Crocker family thanks Dr. Mann, Dr. Morris, Dr. Abu Said, Dr.
Marchman, and the staff at ECM, Florence Rehab, and St.Vincent’s East.
