Jimmy R. Clement, age 76, passed away on Dec. 21, 2015.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County. He will lie-in-state from 1-2 p.m. at the church with Truman Sutton, Wendall Olive, and Jimmy Dowdell officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudie Jane; grandson,(infant) Charlie Clement; father, Matthew Clement; mother, Orr Lee Clement; and brothers, Horace and wife, Olene, Aussie and wife, Mildred, and Luther and wife, Faye.
He is survived by his son, Baxter and wife, Katie, Clement, and grandchildren, Dakota and Janie Clement. He also is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
The family has a special thanks for friends Dorothy Hatton, Megan Bolton, Mendy Palmer, and all others that were there for him. All friends and loved ones from the Cowboy church of Colbert County, Alacare Home Health. Littleville Senior Center, Littleville Family Pharmacy, Tops Club of Russellville, and Gentivia Hospice and all the doctors who cared for him during his extended illness.
