Paul Kelly passed away on January 20, 2025, at 82 years old. He was born in Madison County, Alabama and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Madison County High School in 1960. Paul married Martha Lee (Sue) Ross of Boaz on November 14, 1970, and they were married 54 years. He owned and operated Kelly Cabinet Shop, originally established in 1945 by his father Thomas, until his retirement in 2011.
He is preceded in death by his father William Thomas Kelly, mother Katherine Adair Kelly, and brother Don Kelly.
He is survived by his wife Sue Kelly, daughters Denise Kelly, Diane Kelly, Dawn Webster and son-in-law Jason Woody Webster; four grandchildren Andrew Perry, Victoria Powell, Davis Webster, Audrey Webster; two great-grandchildren Baylee and Jackson; two brothers Kenneth (Ann) Kelly and Jerry (Susan) Kelly and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 3:00 PM with Bro. Harold Kelly officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Blackwell, Adam Kelly, John Kelly, Philip Kelly, Jeff Webster, and John Yant.
Interment will be in Keel Cemetery.
