Mrs. Patsy Ruth Grissom  Mrs. Patsy Ruth Montgomery Grissom, age 78, passed away early Tuesday at her home in Lexington. She was born December 11, 1946 in Henderson County to the late G. W. and Sue Stubblefield Montgomery. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was retired beautician with over 50 years of service, enjoyed her flower and vegetable garden, and especially enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved relaxing in their camper at their property on the Tennessee River and boating, water skiing, and spending time with her friends of the Gumdale Recreation Association.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mr. Dennis Neal Grissom; two sons, Jeffrey Gene Maness and Brian Keith Maness (Debbie); a step-daughter, Lisa Grissom Brown; four grandchildren, Steven, Eric, Cody, and Toni Maness; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gene T. Montgomery; sister-in-law, Dolly Montgomery; and two great grandchildren, twins, Knox and Delaney Maness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, June 19, 2025, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 2 – 7 PM and on Thursday, 10 AM – 2 PM.
