Patsy Jean Hornbuckle Wright, age 90 of Huntsville, formerly of Hamilton, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at Signature Healthcare, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 2, 1931 to Chester L. Hornbuckle and Mary Dee Fleming Hornbuckle in Birmingham, Alabama. Patsy was a member of the Hamilton First United Methodist Church.
Family will hold a private memorial celebration.
Pasty is survived by her son, Richard Stephen (Tamara Pellant) Wright of Huntsville; daughter, Carol (Ritchie) Emerson of Hodges; grandsons, Maxwell S. (Adina Preston) Wright of Florida, Nathan Wright of Dallas, TX, and William Wright of Dallas, TX; granddaughters, Mary Dee and Sarah Ann Emerson of Hodges; great granddaughter, Harper Hana Wright of Huntsville; God-daughter Malia Bishop Jarvis of Mobile; and sister, Syble Ann Hornbuckle of Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Dewey Wright, Sr.; and son, James Dewey “Pete” Wright, Jr.
