Pat was born in Montgomery, AL. Her two favorite passions were Auburn football and vacations at the beach along FL 30A. Pat’s talents and hobbies included painting, cross-stitch, sewing, stamping, and reading. She was an amazing homemaker, creating an open and welcome atmosphere to youth in and out of her family’s house. She naturally connected with young people and assumed a mentoring role, offering support and sound advice to many. Pat actively worked with the youth group at Mayfair Church of Christ, cooking many delicious meals at camps and retreats. She also taught Sunday school to middle school girls. She volunteered many hours at Weatherly Elementary and Grissom High schools, working in the elementary nurse clinic and the high school counselor’s office.

She was dedicated to her family and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the people she loved. The family sincerely appreciates the loving care provided by her caregivers over the past year, especially Kimberly Palomares.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 30 at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. Gary Bradley officiating. A celebration of her life will take place the same day from 5-6pm in the Garden Room at Mayfair Church of Christ, Huntsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
