Patricia Dianne Pruitt, age 66 of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 19, 1957 to William Arnest and Glenda Faye Vickery. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a foster parent for many years. Patricia also enjoyed watching Alabama football, going to dirt track races, and spending time at the campgrounds. She also loved her dogs.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where the service will take place on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Brother Gary Wakefield will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Trent Jones, Tyler Jones, Braden Omary, Blake Omary, John Lynn, and Josh Silas.
Patricia is survived by her mother, Glenda Faye Vickery; children, Justin Sutherland, Johnny Jones, Jonathan Jones, Renee (Jonathan) Omary, Serenity Pruitt, Karma Pruitt, David Pruitt, John Lynn, and Briana Swims; grandchildren, Trent (Jessica) Jones, Courtney Jones, Tyler Jones, Anna Jones, Braden Omary, Brianna Omary, Blake Omary, Brooke Omary, Bentley Sutherland, and Ashton Lane; great grandchildren, Harley Jones, Trevor Jones, and Cooper Omary; brothers and sisters, Ernie (Vicki) Vickery, Debbie Britnell, Rachel (Mark) Roberts, David Vickery, Carol Gebo, and Melissa (Rob) Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Ernest Vickery; sister, Billie Faye; and her half-brother, Travis Holt.
