Pat Phillips, 82, of Sheffield, died Friday, November 17, 2023. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22nd, at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Pat was a native and lifelong resident of Sheffield and was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and was a graduate of UNA where she earned her Bachelor of History degree. Pat worked as a business secretary at UNA and for the State Board of Procurement (SBDC of AL) where she became the director. She and her husband owned and operated Phillip’s Rentals until his death. Pat was a past member of PAWS and served as a member on the Sheffield Utilities Board after the passing of her husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Phillips and parents, Walter and Florence Kelly.
Pat is survived by her son, Alan K. Phillips.
