William Cody Carmack, 31, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be at 2:00 in the chapel with a private burial in Margerum Cemetery, Cherokee, Alabama. Cody’s godmother, Sabrina Eaton, will be officiating.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lother “LR” and Mary Sue Carmack, William Eugene Franks, Barbara Franks; uncles, John Edward Carmack II, Tracy Franks, William Dale Franks, and aunt, JoAnne Hobbs. He is survived by his children, Issac Ray Carmack, Elijah Carmack; the mother of his children, Amber Johnson; parents, Gary Carmack (Regina), Teresa Franks Carmack; brother, Cory Carmack (Ashlynne); step-brother, Austin Rainey (Lindsay), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cody was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was a carpenter by trade. Cody was a gifted individual with many talents. He never saw anything that he couldn’t do. He was an organ donor, and his unselfish act of giving helped to save five lives.
Pallbearers are Cory Carmack, Austin Rainey, Tory Melton, Chance Coates, Ty Coates, and Troy Carmack.
