Mrs. Pamela “ Kaye” Holt, age 60, of Valhermoso Springs, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2023. Mrs. Holt was born on May 02, 1963, to the late Kenneth Doyle Durham and Velma Lois Smith Durham. Kaye adored her family and children. She had a way of making a home full of love and joy for all to gather. She had a part bringing up many different children. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family. She was known for her oatmeal chocolate no-bake cookies. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and loved finding beautiful sceneries on vacations to beaches and the mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Velma Durham ; brother, Shane Durham; sister, Joyce Sue Durham.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Leon Holt; son, Alan Holt (Sarah) and special son, Jacob Vaughn; daughter, Amanda Kaye Holt (Robby Perry); sister, Penny Persle; grandchildren, Tiffany Fichter, Trace Cantrell, Jackson Vaughn, and Rhea Lynn Vaughn; and a host of nieces, nephews and several other special family members and friends.
Services for Mrs. Holt will be held at Little Gethsemane House of Prayer on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin on Monday night at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Fields cemetery
Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Holt to her final resting place will be Alan Holt, Jake Holt, Jonah Evans, Noah Evans, Alec Nelson and Daniel Fichter. Serving as Honorary pallbearer is Trace Cantrell.
