Pamela Harper Pamela Gay Harper, 58, of Dora, Alabama passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025. Pam was born on October 17, 1966, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was the daughter of Barbra and Dock Harper and from an early age, her love for sports became a defining part of her world. Pam was renowned among friends and family for her infectious habit of screaming at sporting events–whether cheering on her son, nephews, or niece from the stands. Her booming voice and unwavering loyalty turned every matchup into an event, bringing joy, laughter, and a touch of chaos to those around her.
Pam was a devoted mom. Her home was always open, filled with laughter and shared stories. She touched countless lives with her vibrant personality and left behind a legacy of enthusiasm that inspired others to live loudly and love fiercely.
She is survived by her son, Ashton (Anna Taylor), niece Nichole, sisters Darlene and Barbara, nephews Nick (Tyra), Bradley and family, and Paul, grandsons Aiden, Grayson, and Jackson, great niece Ashlyn (Justin) Kenzie, great nephew Tanner and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00PM at Dora First Baptist Church, Sunday, October 19, 2025.The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Pam’s memory with a donation made to Dora First Baptist Church.
