Johnie Patricia Tucker Suchey, 87 of Bagley, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 at her residence. She was born July 9, 1938 to Ocie and Mavis “Bill” Tucker. Johnie was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and a proud graduate of Corner High School, class of 1956.
She was a retired school teacher from Bagley School, who taught reading, math and enjoyed arts and crafts with her students.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Joe Suchey and her parents, Ocie and Mavis “Bill” Tucker.
Johnie is survived by her children, Terra Ann Rice and husband Marc, and Patrick Suchey and wife Pat; grandchildren, Marcus Rice (Julie), Jonathan Suchey (Kynlie), John Cohen Suchey, Caci Konyka (Jacob) and Emma Chatman (Mykelti); great grandchildren, Marlie Rice, River Suchey, Piper, Nora and Willa Konyka, and Addyson and Alani Chatman; sister, Jackie Auerbach; niece, Melissa Rubin (Adam); great nephews, Aubrey and Cohner Rubin; great niece, Brennan Rubin; nephew, David Auerbach; cousin, Eddie Goggans; brother-in-law, Randy Suchey; several other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday Oct. 16, 25 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. J.J. Creel and Mike Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 1-2 pm.
