Funeral for Ozell Sparks, 71, of Danville, will be today, September 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lebanon Church of God with Pinky Tyler and Billy Jackson officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Sparks died on Friday, September 6, 2013, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born February 23, 1942, in Morgan County, to Jessie D. and Bertha McDougle Sparks. She was a member of Lebanon Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, J.D. Sparks.
Survivors include her son, David Campbell (Christy); one brother, Dwight Sparks (Faye) of Moulton; sister, Ruby Sparks Black of Moulton; grandchildren, Lindsey Campbell and Anthony Campbell; and one step-grandchild, Hannah Miller.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Black, Steve Black, Gilbert Sparks, Jeffery Sparks, David Clemons and Cody Johnson.
