On Tuesday December 19, 2023, following a short illness, Mr. Orville Gene Posey (Junior), age 67 passed at home in Langston, Alabama, with his loving wife, Kim, by his side. Before moving to Langston, Mr. Posey had resided in Gulf Shores, Al, Foley, Al, Milton, Fl and Estell Fort, Al.
Junior, as he was known by his friends and family, enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved watching movies, especially Westerns. On game day, he enjoyed Alabama football. He enjoyed fishing for crappie with his Uncle Larry. He loved feeding his chickens and taking care of his honey bees. He loved reading the Bible and talking about the Lord. He attended South Sauty Baptist Church with his loving Church family.
Mr. Posey was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell Gerune Posey and Orville Gene Posey Sr. and his brother, Donny Joe Posey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Mrs. Kimberly Posey of Langston, Al, daughter, Kimberly Eleanor Maxwell of Pensacola, Fl, son, Rocky Brock of Pensacola, Fl, Nephew, Daniel Posey, mother-in law, Eleanor Stacey, Langston, Al, Brother-in Laws, James Harris (Kimberly Ann), North Carolina; Robert T, Harris (Connie), Gulf Breeze, Fl, Uncle Larry Robertson (Brenda), Foley, Al and other relatives and friend.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2 PM at South Sauty Baptist Church, 325 Murphy Hill Dr, Langston, Al 35755. Services will be officiated by Pastor Randall Stoner.
