Opal Yvonne Meeks, 84, of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Crowne Health Care. She was born June 6, 1939 in Jackson County, Alabama to the late G.B. Bell and Gertrude Biddle Bell.
At her requests, no services are planned.
She is survived by her sons Kevin Meeks (Staci) and Brent Meeks (Alicia) and grandson Matthew Meeks.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Frances Lackey, Thelma Sue Smith, Pauline Silver, and Grace Ann Conelly.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
