Opal Gertha Klatt, age 92 of Madison, passed away Friday. She was a loving mother and military wife.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Godwin & husband Jerome, son, Larry Klatt & wife Cindy, son, Donald Klatt & wife Nancy, two brothers Raymond Townsend & Eugene Townsend, three sisters, Burnell Hall, Evangeline Hughes, & Margaret Fikes, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, & numerous nieces & nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. There will be a graveside service Sunday at 1:00 PM at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Rev. William Young officiating.
