Olen Roscoe Pigg, age 87, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2026, at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, Alabama. Olen was born on January 1, 1939, to Bill and Luella Pigg. He loved his family deeply and always wanted to be surrounded by them. Olen enjoyed sitting on the front porch with his four-legged fur babies. He loved picking his guitar and singing, and he was known by many as everyone’s handyman. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, Alabama. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery #2 in Addison, Alabama. Brother Steton Hayes will officiate the services. Olen is survived by his daughters, Darlene Alvis, Melissa (Mark) Downs, and Shana (Kody) Smothers; sons, David (Marie) Pigg and Rockie Pigg; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and sisters, Wanda (Gary) Laney and Edna Key. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Luella Pigg; his wife, Margie Pigg; one sister and three brothers; grandson, David Pigg; and granddaughter, Ashley Tyson.
