O.B. Owens 74 of Hartselle died June 14, 2013. Funeral service will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Fairview Church of God in Falkville with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. There will be a Visitation from 11:00 until service time at the church. There will be a private burial.
Mr. Owens was born to Otto Wille Owens and Bertha Terry Owens on January 14, 1938 in Lawrence County, Alabama. He was a retired football coach, principal and educator. He was currently serving on the Joe Wheeler Board. Mr. Owens was also a Business man, in partnership with Pig Stand BBQ in Hartselle. In Lieu of flowers make donations to Fairview church of God. Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Jean Masterson.
