Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jackie Anderson, age 93, are scheduled for 11 AM, on Saturday, January 23rd, at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington, TN with burial at Independence Cemetery in Henderson County.
Mrs. Anderson passed away on January 19th, at her home in the Blue Goose Community in Henderson County, where she had lived for the past 70+ years. She was surrounded by family at the time of her passing.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Lexington, TN, to the late William McKinley Tate and Ruby Wood Tate, and was preceded in death by her husband- George Leon Anderson, one grandson-Joshua Thatcher and granddaughter- Adrianna Anderson.
Survivors include one brother, Morris Tate, Sr of Memphis TN; three daughters- Joyce Mathis (Ray) and Paula Thatcher (deceased husband Arthur) of Lexington, TN and Cathy Ballard (William) of Decaturville, TN; three sons-Gary Anderson (Candy) of Lexington, Larry Anderson of Maggie Valley, NC and Randy Anderson (Carol) of Houston, TX., nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
The family respectfully requests that visitors wear masks and practice social distancing at the visitation and funeral.
