Nina Sue Knoer, age 64 of Tullahoma, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester. She was born in New Hope, Alabama on April 15, 1957 to the late James Albert Lewis and Ocie Marie (Harden) Hastings. Nina Sue was employed as a CNA for many years. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and had a passion for animals, especially horses and dogs. Before her illness, riding four-wheelers in the mountains was one of her favorite pastimes. But most of all, Nina Sue cherished the time spent with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and will be remembered as a good Christian woman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James A. Lewis Jr, Kenneth Wayne Lewis, Ronald Eugene Lewis, Dorothy Marie Long, Lena Mae Bragg, and Judy Ann Harrington. Nina Sue is survived by her loving husband, William Michael “Mike” Knoer; sons, Steven Dewayne (Misty) Ridner, and James “Rusty” Russell (Sarah) Ridner; daughter, Angela Gordon (Jimmy Morris); fourteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; siblings, Carl Dean Lewis, Linda (Dolvin) Varnidore, Lisa (Don) Lucas, and Teresa (Terry) Reed; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
