Niles Dewayne Bates, age 81, of Florence passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 11:00AM.-1:00 P.M. at Tri-Cities Mausoleum Chapel, Florence. The funeral service will follow in the Mausoleum chapel with Bro. Sonny Owens officiating. Mr. Bates was a member of North Alabama Bantam Association. Survivors include: Wife, Jean Orrick Bates. Children: Terry Bates, (Carol), Garry Bates, Lanny Bates and Jamie Bates. Grandchildren: Leigh Anne Bates, Preston Bates, Devin Bates, Matthew Bates, Brandy Bates, John Nicholas Bates. 4 Grandchidlren.
