  Nicholas Dewayne Alexander born August 24, 1984 died May 7, 2024. He passed away in his sleep from a massive heart attack.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Martha Harris, Wayne and Marie Alexander. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Kim; four children, Lannah, Lilly, Harrison and Reed, his loving parents; mother, Donna Lewis; father, Rodney Alexander, mom Rita; siblings Kristen, Cameron, and Savanah. And numerous family and friends.

He once told his son Harrison there is 3 things he wants to be in life; a construction worker, a baseball player, and a preacher. He was a journeyman plumber, pipe fitter, and his favorite was a gas fitter. He was an All Star baseball player while in school, winning multiple championships. He was also named winning pitcher in a state tournament. He became a coach to his children and their baseball team, teaching, inspiring and being a positive role model. Nick shared God’s Word to everyone. He was an inspiration to many, encouraging the down hearted. Always giving a helping hand to people in need. Nick accomplished his goals and so much more.

Please join his family in celebrating his life and love. Visitation will be held at Akins Funeral Home in Russellville, Sunday May 12th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be Monday, May 13 at 1p.m.  in Akins Chapel.  Corey Moody and Bro. Jim Lumpkin will be officiating the service.   His body will be laid to rest at East Franklin Cemetery.
