Ferry Washington, age 68 passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 7, 1956, in Scottsboro, Alabama to Floyd and Nancy Washington. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Washington; son Marques Washington; daughter Emily Washington Dowdy; stepson Jim (Lea) Webb; grandchildren Mitravais Sexton, Ethan Dowdy, Enya Dowdy, and Eleigha Dowdy; step grandchildren Julia (Josh) Well, Levi (Jenna) Webb; great granddaughter Alaina Sexton; brothers, Sedric (Becky) Washington and Eric Washington; sister Nita Coon; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial will be held this Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro from 6-7pm.
