Funeral Service for W.D. Wray, 87, will be Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 1: 00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Patterson officiating. Interment will be in the West Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday April 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home and Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Mr. Wray passed away April 18, 2025 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield. He was born on October 23, 1937 in Morgan County to Grady Wray and Gertrude Dunn Wray.
Mr. Wray Worked 29 years at Fruehauf and then 15 years with Monsanto/Solutia before retiring. He was of the Baptist faith and U.S. Army Veteran “Old Guard.”
Mr. Wray was preceded in death by his Wife, Judy Gale Flack Wray, parents, brothers, McCoy Wray, Whitt Wray, sister, Martha Gravatt and a great grandson, Payson Corrigan.
He is Survived by:

Daughter – Wendy Barnard (Neal)

Myra Patterson, Vann Wray (Susanne), James Wray (Ann) and Judy Atkins
Grandchildren – Cortney Wray, Chad (Kaitlin) Wray, Kaitlin Corrigan (Joseph), Seth Rhudy (Kelsey), Kynsi Barnard, Ashlyn Barnard, Brandon Barnard, and Crystal Swindall
Great Grandchildren – Patton Corrigan, Claren Rhudy, Jett Rhudy, Miley Rowell, and Westyn Swindall
Host of Nieces and Nephews
Pallbearers will be Chad Wray, Kenneth Atkins, Randall Gravatt, Chris Wray, Seth Rhudy and Brandon Barnard
