FLORENCE-The Friends Bookstore is excited to be accepting donations once again! Bring your donations by the back entrance of the library on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10:00am-2:00pm, and you will find a volunteer or library staff member to assist you. The Friends of the Library ask that you limit your donation to 20 items during this time and that donated items be in good condition.

- Cassette tapes and LP records
- Catalogues
- Magazines more than 2 years old
The Friends Bookstore appreciates the community’s patience while they have had to suspend accepting donation until now due to Covid. Donations are vital to the library and the bookstore, as the profit from the sales made in the Friends Bookstore provide the community with free services, materials, and programs.
Come to the Library’s Tent Sale!
The Florence-Lauderdale Public Library is having their Tent Sale on the front lawn Saturday, May 15 from 10am-5pm and Sunday, May 16 from 12pm-5pm. There will be great deals on books, including being able to fill a bag full of books for $5 and there will even be $2 grab bags available. Cash and cards are accepted.
Proceeds from the items purchased in the Friends Bookstore go towards providing more free materials and services to our community.
