Funeral Services for Mrs. Nettie Sue Hudson, age 93 of Lineville, will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Barfield Baptist Church with Rev. John Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Hudson passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. A lifelong resident of Clay County, she was a devoted Wife and Homemaker, dedicated to raising her four children, and multiple grandchildren. Mrs. Hudson enjoyed cooking for her family, and arranging for annual family gatherings and reunions. She was a Breast Cancer Survivor, and was strong in her faith. She read her daily devotion, and always involved as a member of Barfield Baptist Church. Mrs. Hudson was also a member of the Barfield Baptist Church Choir. She was described as Headstrong and honest, but loyal and loving to her large family. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by four children: Pam Loveless of Lineville, Cindy Hudson of Auburn, Mike Rose (Susan) and Scottie Hudson (Sonya), both of Lineville; seven grandchildren: Jeremy Rose, Amber Rose, Emily Loveless, Paige Lee, Jake Lee, Mallory Deerman, and Ryder Hudson, plus a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William Larcus and Ora Lee Newell Sprayberry; her husband, Roy M. Hudson; one granddaughter, Rachel Loveless; son in law, Doyle Loveless; 8 sisters and 5 brothers.
Active Pallbearers will be Jeremy Rose, Jake Lee, Ryder Hudson, Russ Foster, Josh Graben, and Robbie Robertson.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Barfield Baptist Church, beginning at 9:30 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M.
