For her whole life, Mrs. Faircloth spent every week preparing for Sunday. She made sure her Bible class lesson was prepared, the bulletin boards at church were decorated, the needs of her congregation were met, her husband (the preacher) was supported, and her family’s hearts were prepared for worship.

While preparing for every Sunday, she devoted her life to preparing for the Sunday that she would be in Paradise and reunited with her husband.

Among her hobbies, she loved to paint, crochet, knit, and quilt. Her most recent service she did was to knit baby caps to be taken to the hospitals for newborn babies.

Marie Faircloth, “Ma-Ma,” loved the Lord and His church with her whole heart. She has now gained her reward. We are so thankful for the legacy she left and the memories we have. We pray we can strive to live up to the example she left for us.
