Nellie Jean Hamby, age 77 of Haleyville, Al. passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She attended Ephesus Baptist church.
Visitation is Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Al. Funeral service is Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Clint Knowles and Jeff Whitten officiating. Burial in Littleville Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Paul Hamby, Derek Cole, Timmy Hamby, Earl Ray Hamby, Tony Cole and Brady Cole.
She is survived by her children, Shirley (Larry) Giambrone, Linda Akers, Terry Hamby, Diane (James)Moorehead, Vern (Annette) Hamby, Tammy Cole and David (Jamie) Hamby; brothers and sisters, Richard Holt, Minnie Conrad, Louise Cook, Lily Mae Knowles and Betty Jo Broglyn; 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.H. and Hattie Mae Holt; husband, James Lowell Hamby; brothers, Son, Earl and Tott Holt.
