Nellie D. Wigginton, 84 passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, MS. She was born in Truman, AR to Hobert McKinley and Sarah Anne Smith. She worked as a receptionist and attended Tishomingo Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 4:30-7 at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Wigginton and Vance Wigginton (Dale); one grandson, Shane Wigginton (Amanda); two great-grandsons, Daniel Wigginton and J.B. Stacy; one sister, Mary Grassel and one brother, Edward L. Smith (Barbara).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenney Wigginton; two brothers, Walter Smith and Leon Smith and two sisters, Frances Holtcamp and Bessie Phelps.
