Funeral for Nell Hargitt, 87, of Decatur will be Sunday, February 9, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hargitt, who died Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Falkville Health Care, was born October 25, 1926, in Decatur. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Hargitt; and husband, Sonny Hargitt.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Thomas and her husband, Terry.
