Funeral service for Nell Callahan Oden, 74, will be Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Richie officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Blue Springs Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Oden died on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born July 25, 1950, in Morgan County, to Robert Louis Callahan and Lela Pannell Callahan.
She was employed by Eaton Co., as a production worker, prior to her retirement. She was an excellent cook for her family whom she loved dearly, and was the best wife, mother, and grandmother. She would do anything to help anyone, was very soft-hearted, loved making people happy and making them smile. She was the person who kept the family together and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also took care of all of her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and eleven siblings.

Brothers- Marshall Callahan (Faye),

Bobby Callahan,
Seven Grandchildren – Justin Tucker (Dawn), Matthew Sides, Whitney Webb (Eian), Savannah Morrow (Nick), Shelton Brown, Abby Johnson (Caleb), and Gabby Caler (Colton),
Great Grandchildren – Rylen, Mason, Maddie, Evelyn, Magnolia, Emma, Lily, Liam, Atlas, and Maverick.
Pallbearers will be Eian Webb and Caleb Fritscher, Kenneth Callahan, Tony Flack, Brandon Flack, and Dustin Flack.
