Nelda R. Windham, 79, of Nauvoo, died on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Wilson Cemetery. Ben Wright will officiate. She was a member of the Macedonia Black Water Church of Christ.
Miss Windham was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Vivian Windham; brothers, Max Windham (Nellie), Kenneth Windham (Gail), Bruce Windham all of Nauvoo and Jasper, AL, Joe Windham of Leeds, AL, and James Windham (Jane) of Columbiana, AL.
She is survived by her sisters, Betty Daniel of Birmingham, AL, and Ann Myers of Nauvoo, AL; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Windham of Moody, AL and Sheila Windham of Jasper, AL; brother-in-law, Carlton Myers of Nauvoo, AL; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Donations in her memory can be made to Wilson Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Windham, Joel Windham, Paul Windham, Rex Daniel, Steven Windham, David Daniel, Jonathan Windham, Kevin Daniel, Jeffrey Windham, Jason Windham, and Jeremy Windham.
