Nyla is 2 years and 8 months old and as sweet as they come. She lived in a home her whole life before being surrendered, and we believe her family may have lost their housing. Through it all, Nyla has remained a very good girl with a loving heart. She adores people, soaks up attention, and has an affectionate, gentle nature. The best news? She passed her cat test, so she may do well in a home with feline friends!
Nyla is ready for a fresh start and a family to love her forever.
Her $85 adoption fee includes: Spay/neuter, Microchip, Current vaccines, Heartworm test

This sweet boy is Willis!
He was brought to us last week as a “stray”
He is so withdrawn and scared at the shelter! Every sound…every touch… every movement….. he jerks out of fear and nervousness!
This boy is around 20-25 pounds and in need of a foster home for socialization or best case scenario, someone patient and loving to adopt him and teach him that it’s ok to trust!
We have been trying to work with him for the week he has been with us! Our volunteer, Nathan, moved him to a kennel run, purchased him a calming collar and thunder shirt to try to help with the anxiety! We have sat and just loved him a lot of the day today, as much as we possibly could with the amount of animals and responsibilities we have.
We will just sit with him and have conversations next to him, not quickly moving, not rubbing but gently laying our arm across him.
If you can foster or adopt this boy, it would be amazing! He just needs someone with time and patience!
Please contact us if you or anyone you know could help this sweetheart! Colbert County Animal Shelter
