Rudy Deserves His Forever Home
Our sweet Rudy boy is back up for adoption
This boy is SO deserving of a home. He has been through more than any 2-year-old dog ever should have. He has had owner after owner abandon him, and somehow, he continues to be the sweetest boy.
Rudy is ready for someone who will finally choose him—and keep choosing him.
About Rudy:
• Around 2 years old
• Heartworm negative!
• Already neutered
• UTD on vaccines, including rabies
• Good with dogs at the shelter
• Absolutely LOVES children here
• Because of his size, older/bigger kids may be the best fit
• Loves having room to run and play
A VERY important note about children:
While Rudy has absolutely adored the kids here, children must be taught to respect his space—and the space of any other animals in the home.
Being a big dog does NOT mean he should be climbed on, ridden, pulled on, or treated like a jungle gym. Children should never climb on Rudy simply because he is large. He deserves the same respect and boundaries as any other dog. 🐾
Rudy can escape a crate if he REALLY needs to use the bathroom, so a secure setup and regular potty breaks are important.
He would be happy being an inside OR responsibly outside dog. If he is outside, he MUST have:
NO TETHERS
Plenty of fresh water
Daily food
Proper shelter
A safe, secure area to enjoy
Have a big fenced yard that needs a dog to run, play and keep you company?

Meet Zeus/Rondo, a handsome 5-year-old Dogo Argentino mix who is on the hunt for his forever home!
Before you fall in love with this beautiful boy, please read carefully. He is going to need a special family who understands his needs and is willing to put in the work.
Things you should know:
Zeus has a severe grass allergy and will require frequent veterinary care and ongoing medication.
He LOVES treats… but he doesn’t always take them very gently.
He has absolutely no concept of personal space! If he loves you, he wants to be RIGHT there with you.

Has done great with other dogs!
Has been great with our office cat!
Doesn’t react to the horses!
