Nauvel Dean Uptain, 78 of Jasper passed away March 22, 2026, at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Ozenia Ragsdale; brothers, Huey Ragsdale, and R.V. Phillips. Survivors include her children, Sandra Englebert, Donna Blankenship (Tim), Susan Meeks, Chris Uptain (Susan), and Nick Uptain (Jenna); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Nila Uptain, Dennis Ragsdale, and Doyce Ragsdale. A graveside service will be held March 25, 2026, at 1:00pm in McCormack Cemetery. Visitation will be help 12:00pm- 12:45pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel.
