nathanNathan Owen Freeman died unexpectedly at his home in Rogers, Arkansas, at the age of 24.
Nathan is survived by his father, Don Freeman, of Russellville, Alabama; his mother, Gayle Bridges, of Sheffield, Alabama; and his twin brother, Kevin Freeman, of Vancouver, Washington.
Nathan was born on April 14, 1991, in Russellville, Alabama, to Don and Gayle. He graduated from Muscle Shoals High School as valedictorian in 2009 and from The University of Alabama with high honors in 2013 with a degree in management information systems. After moving to Rogers, Arkansas, Nathan began working for Wal-Mart as a programmer analyst.
Nathan was passionate about making people laugh, following Alabama football and the Atlanta Braves, and enjoying good times with friends and family. He was a witty individual who brightened the lives of those around him.
Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, Alabama, with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Nathan’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nathan Freeman Scholarship Fund at any Listerhill branch. The scholarship fund will benefit students at Muscle Shoals High School. For more information on how to give, call (256) 383-9204.
