Nancy Jean Lamar of Athens passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Lamar was born July 7, 1932 in Limestone County, AL to William Grady Rowe and Kathleen Honey Rowe.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 12:00 p.m., at Roselawn Cemetery with Terry Lamar officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lamar was a member of Cambridge Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Richard H. Dollar, Sr.; parents, William and Kathleen Rowe; sister, Mary Frances Rice; daughter-in-law, Connie Dollar.
Survived by her husband, Jerry Lamar of Athens; one daughter, Cindy Walker and husband, Art of Springville, AL; three sons, Dickie Dollar of Tuscaloosa; Mike Dollar and wife, Mary Ann of Walls, MS and Brett Dollar and wife, Candy of Clay, AL; two step-sons, Chase Lamar of Athens and Scott Harrison and wife, Cindy of Jackson, N.C.; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Dollar, Art Walker, Mike Dollar, Chase Lamar, Brett Dollar and Scott Harrison.
