Nancy Dale Holt Bowers, age 65, of Athens, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, June 2nd, 2025. Born on October 8th, 1959, in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Sam Holt and Pansy Raney Holt.
Mrs. Bowers is survived by her husband, Jeff Bowers; her daughter, Corri Johnson, and son-in-law, Jeremy, of Horton, Alabama; her son, Chris Bowers, and daughter-in-law, Christie, of Athens. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tyler Johnson, Troy Johnson, Audrey Johnson, Esther Johnson, Carson Bowers, and Henry Bowers. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne Holt and his wife Shirley of Athens, and Tim Holt and his wife Gwen of Florence.
Mrs. Bowers was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sue Taylor, along with her brother-in-law, Jerry Taylor.
The family invites friends and loved ones to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Bowers, which will be held on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Tony Vining and Matt Taylor will officiate the service. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 4th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the service, burial will be at Reunion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
