Nancy Carol Henson, 75 of Albertville, Alabama, formerly of the Arab area, died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Albertville Nursing Home.
Ms. Henson was born September 9, 1940 in Marshall County to Louise Hall. She was a 1958 graduate of Marshall County High School. She worked as an associate for Wal-Mart until her retirement. Ms. Henson enjoyed cross stitch, yard sales, watching T.V. and word search.
She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son: Ronnie Henson; a daughter and son-in-law: Lisa C. and Doug Simmons; grandchildren: Junior and Sharee Green, Clay and Leighandra Green, Korey and Cassidy Simmons, Ricky Henson, Jamie and Laci Henson; ten great grandchildren; step-brothers: David Maynard and Mike Maynard; step-sister and step brother-in-law: Ann and Andy Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents: J.B. and Louise Hall Smith; and a son Leslie Henson.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday August 25, 2016 at Mt. Oak/Ruth Cemetery with Jonathan Lowery, officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday August 24, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
