Nadine Brooks Vaughan, 80, of Florence, passed away March 29, 2015 at E.C.M. Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing with the Methodist Layman group with Barry and Becky Hightower, Diane Vaughan Haddock, Susie Vaughan Raney and Joel Raney as pianist.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ellis Coats and Clifford Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Vaughan was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, C.P. “Hoover” Vaughan, Jr.; parents, Clifford and Mamie Brooks; brothers, Clifford Brooks, Jr., and James Wayne Brooks.
She is survived by her children, Diane Vaughan Haddock (Derrill) of Florence, Susie Vaughan Raney (Joel) of Chicago, C.P. “Chuck” Vaughan, III (Susan) of Florence; grandchildren, Dr. Jason Haddock (Katy), Kyle Haddock (Melissa), Charlie Raney, Sawyer Raney, Jesse Raney, and C.P. “Chad” Vaughan, IV, and great-grandson, Jackson Minor Haddock.
Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great-grandson, and Paul Parrish.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Vance, Earl Harrison, Jr., Ricky Dean, and Harold Rhodes.
