Naaman L. “Les” Hornbuckle, 79, of Decatur will be Friday, January 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Burt Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hornbuckle, who died Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Decatur Health and Rehabilitation, was born November 18, 1934, in Morgan County to John Cleveland Hornbuckle and Sallie Lee Stiles Hornbuckle. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service and from the Alabama State Employment Service with 21 years of service. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Hartselle. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Vicky Hornbuckle; brothers, Millender, Joe, Morris, Melvin and Charles Hornbuckle; and one sister, Jane Wagner.

Survivors include his wife, Janice W. Hornbuckle; one son, David Hornbuckle (Debbie) of Danville; two daughters, Tammy Kelso (Eddie) and Melissa Rawlins (David), both of Danville; one stepson, Cameron Prince (Suzanne) of Decatur; two brothers, J.C. Hornbuckle (Mary) of Albertville and George Hornbuckle (Kay) of Salt Lake City, Utah; three sisters, Vilot Gable of Cleburn, Texas, Mary Wishon of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Sue Bailey (Bobby) of Morgan City; six grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren.

Pallbearers will be members of Bethel Baptist Church.
